An opportunity has arisen for a Junior Sous Chef position to join our Culinary Department in Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
• Assist the Chef de Cuisine in the operation and administration, and has co responsibility in the absence of the CDC in planning, organizing, and managing all activities within the Food preparation.
• Efficient and diplomatic in all situations involving any aspect of Food and Beverage where the reputation of the hotel is represented
• Ensure in daily basis the execution on daily basis the SOP standards.
• Ensure the HACCP requirements in line on daily basis and implement immediate corrective action if its required
• To assist the CDC in developing menus, buffets and ‘specials’ which meet the needs of the customers.
• To check all fridges, mise en place at each station at beginning and end of each shift/service including quality of stocks, etc and to ensure a consistent quality of MEP. Se ofrece
