PROFILE JUNIOR CHEF BARZZA
Opportunity for dedicated and skilled (junior) chef!
We are looking for a young and authentic Spanish junior chef! Passion for the Spanish cuisine is a must! The candidate also has to be physically fit, between 25 and 35 years of age and have sufficient command of the English language. You have finished an education to become a chef. An HND, foundation degree or degree in professional cookery or culinary (level2) is a must. We are looking for someone energetic, who is willing to learn and also be able to make your own contributions and idea’s to the Spanish menu. Furthermore you have to have some experience in a restaurant as a junior chef.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a junior chef at Barzza you'll:
-get to grips with the fundamentals of cooking the menu of Barzza , as well as learning how to handle ingredients correctly
-work in different sections of the kitchen, helping the general chef
-be responsible for food preparation and basic cooking and also learn about portion sizes
-listen to instructions and work as part of a team.
-prep, cook and assemble dishes and make sure that they go out on time
-be in charge of a specific section of the kitchen,so you'll need to have a sound knowledge of cooking
-assist the general chef in developing menus
-delegate responsibilities to kitchen assistants

Se ofrece

WORKING HOURS
38 hours a week divided over 4 working days. Most likely from Thursday till Sunday. Working hours and days can vary due to seasonal bustle. 24 days of vacation.
CONTRACT & SALARY
You will get a contract as a junior chef for 2 years with 2 months of probation. The contract is applicable to Dutch law and the Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry. (UVH) Your salary will be €2.230,96 gross per month or €1.800,- net income.
HOUSING
Barzza will provide you with a brand new and furnished studio apartment in the city centre of ‘s-Hertogenbosch only 2 minutes walk from the central train station and 1 minute walk from Barzza. Costs are €600,- per month including water, electricity and wifi. You will have to pay 1 month rent in advance and a deposit of € 1.200,-
